ELynx names Scott Carstens CFO; Alexander Pozin director, product marketing

eLynx Ltd., a leading provider of secure document delivery and business process management Web services for the financial services industry, today announced the addition of Scott Carstens as the company's chief financial officer (CFO) and Alexander Pozin as the director of Product Marketing.
These executive additions help further solidify eLynx' position within the mortgage finance market and position the company to move into additional vertical markets with existing and new products including general financial services, auto finance, consumer lending and insurance.
As CFO, Carstens is charged with leading the finance, planning and human resources functions of eLynx. His responsibilities consist of the financial reporting and analysis, short term and long term budgeting, treasury, risk management, human resources, payroll and general administrative functions of the business. He is a member of the management team with a focus on providing value to external and internal stakeholders.
Carstens comes to eLynx as a proven business leader with various finance, accounting, merger and acquisition, planning, treasury and sales roles with global organizations and start-up information technology companies. Previously, he worked for Dayton-based NCR Corp, Cincinnati-based Convergys Corp., Cleveland-based OfficeMax, Inc., Cleveland-based TRW Inc., San Francisco-based Oracle Corp. and San Francisco-based Siebel Systems.
Carstens earned a bachelor of science degree in Finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and his MBA from The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
Alexander Pozin, director of Product Marketing, is responsible for directing all product strategy, management and marketing activities. Specifically, he is charged with planning the roadmap for the products supported by eLynx and the overall product management functions of eLynx' products. He will develop market segment and product marketing strategies, product marketing communications plans, and internal and external positioning and launch activities. He will report to the vice president of Business Development.
Pozin's experience includes product marketing management in the largest software business unit of a major electronic content management (ECM) vendor, negotiating enterprise software deals for a Fortune 500 organization and participating in enterprise software integration and consulting projects within Fortune 500 customers. Prior to joining eLynx, Pozin worked for Waterloo, Ontario-based Open Text Corp., as a product marketing manager, with Seattle-based Washington Mutual in strategic sourcing and with New York-based Deloitte & Touche in consulting.
Pozin graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a bachelor of arts degree in Psychology with a concentration in information systems and International Studies.
