Tappit hires Jason Dean as new CTO

tappit, a leading cashless experience specialist for top music festivals, sports and other global entertainment venues, has appointed Jason Dean, former CTO of Sensewhere Ltd, as its new Chief Technology Officer.

Jason joins at a time where tappit is expanding its operations across the world. He will be responsible for leading R&D, product development and engineering, helping to streamline tappit’s existing cashless payments technology to enhance the fan experience.

Jason has a wealth of experience in technical design & delivery, working extensively with mobile payment security, proximity (RFiD & NFC), geospatial, big data & analytics.

With his appointment, Jason brings full life-cycle product design and development expertise to tappit's technology team. He has previously delivered high profile software projects for Nokia, Facebook, KPMG, Accenture, Sky, Tencent , WeChat and QQ.

Alongside Duco Smit, who recently joined tappit as its new Chief Commercial Officer, and Daniel Van Eynsbergen as Chief Operating Officer, Jason will play a pivotal role in growing tappit’s global footprint in new and developing markets.
