Mr Bullock joins ASB from his most recent role as Executive General Manager, Technology Operations, Risk and Control at IAG. Over the course of his career in New Zealand and the UK, he has developed extensive experience in technology and financial services, involving executive roles in finance, strategy, technology and operations.

ASB Chief Executive Vittoria Shortt says David Bullock is a customer-focused leader with a values-centric style, underpinned by an outstanding big-picture way of thinking.

“I am delighted to announce David Bullock’s appointment. It is evident from his career achievements that he places a huge emphasis on building a positive team culture. Mr Bullock is looking forward to using his broad skill set to help accelerate the financial progress of ASB customers.

Mr Bullock is based at ASB’s North Wharf office in Auckland’s Wynyard Quarter and his appointment is effective immediately.
