Tinkoff Bank customers with iOS devices can now buy tickets to theatrical or musical events directly in the Bank’s mobile app.

Android users will get the same opportunity in the next week. Supported by Tinkoff Group’s partner Kassir.ru, the new service is already available in Moscow and St Petersburg, and will soon roll out to Russia’s other major cities.

Concert or theatre tickets can be purchased via the Payments menu in the Entertainment section of Tinkoff’s mobile app. When a customer picks either the Concerts or Theatre option, an event list broken down by categories (Most Popular, Next Weekend for concerts) and by genres pops up. After that, customers can choose a convenient time and a seat on the seat map and pay for the ticket. Following the purchase, the online ticket is sent to the customer’s email and saved in the Orders section of the app.

Tinkoff card holders will earn 15% cashback on concert and theatre tickets purchased via Tinkoff's mobile app from 19 November till 31 December 2018. The cashback will be credited to the customer's card after the event is over either in roubles or in bonuses depending on the loyalty programme. For example, holders of All Airlines credit cards will get their cashback in miles. The cashback under the special offer is limited to 3,000 bonuses/roubles.

“Tinkoff Group acquired a stake in Kassir.ru Group in July 2018. We are excited to share the first results of our integration, which has contributed to Tinkoff’s lifestyle banking ecosystem. Along with buying movie tickets and making restaurant reservations, our customers now have an opportunity to plan their visits to concerts or theatres right in the mobile app. There is no more need to spend your time browsing through websites and looking for the most recommended city events as we have curated the most interesting and popular shows within a single platform and are giving away bonuses for the tickets you purchase. Very soon we will present you with more special offers from our partners,” said Maxim Yevdokimov, Chief Digital CX Officer at Tinkoff Bank.
