With more than 170 employees across 12 locations, Security Bank was in need of an updated intranet solution capable of supporting the institution’s continued growth across Texas. The bank selected Banc Intranets’ employee portal due to its user-friendliness and ability to centralize company-wide communications. The bank also cited BancWorks’ features such as electronic forms, its learning management system and recently updated ticketing system, which allows banks to create automatic workflows to streamline internal ticket usage, as critical factors in its decision.

“It’s clear from our experience working with Banc Intranets that their BancWorks employee intranet is designed specifically for financial institutions,” said Carlos Morales, Vice President and Information Security Officer of Security Bank “Whereas our previous intranet provided few product updates and limited support, Banc Intranets is more than open to working with us to create the intranet best suited to our employees individual needs.”

“Bankers today require increased flexibility when it comes to internal communications. Whether it’s distributing company news or important regulatory updates, leadership must be able to quickly and easily provide employees the information they need to conduct their daily tasks,” said Mark Anderson, CEO of Banc Intranets. “Security Bank understands this need and the vital role an employee intranet plays in improving how employees work and engage with customers.”
