Trading System Associates to support InfoDyne products in Europe

22 April 2004  |  1246 views  |  0

InfoDyne Corporation, a leading provider of direct exchange feed ticker plant technology, middleware, and trade/order management systems and Trading System Associates plc, a leading provider of trading technology solutions to the financial industry, today announced a partnership to provide technology support and custom programming services for the InfoDyne product suite in the UK and European marketplace.

Prompted by the explosive growth of program trading and the resulting performance demand for direct feed solutions, the partnership enables UK and European traders to realize the benefits of the same InfoDyne technology and support widely used in North America.

With a long history of technology services to leading exchanges and major financial institutional dealing floors, TS-Associates is keenly aware of the growth in program trading and the demand that it creates for market data with virtually zero latency. Since its founding in 1992, InfoDyne has targeted its product set to meet these demands.

InfoDyne's TPS+Plus seamlessly blends the direct feeds of all leading exchanges and ECNs with the consolidated feeds of leading vendors. This blending realizes the speed advantage of direct feeds while allowing a firm to optimize the mixture of content and control the cost/benefit ratio of the solution. Blending insures an integrated source of market data that includes primary and secondary markets as well as static and fundamental information. InfoDyne's STP+Plus facilitates programmatic trade and order routing by providing a normalized interface to leading exchanges and ECNs. Middleware(2) provides a demonstrably faster infrastructure tailored to the needs of program trading while incorporating adapters that allow InfoDyne products to be directly connected to all leading market data distribution systems.

Henry Young, Director of Product Strategy at TS-Associates, says: "Effective use of program trading dictates that market data be delivered with the lowest possible latency through a platform optimized for these critical applications. The InfoDyne product suite insures these performance requirements are met through an infrastructure that is highly reliable, massively scalable, and capable of enhancing the value of customer's existing systems. We are very pleased to join with them in supporting our mutual clients in the UK and throughout Europe."

Kerry Hindle, Executive Vice President of Marketing at InfoDyne, says: "The ever expanding use of program trading applications challenges trading firms, data providers, and technology vendors alike and has created unprecedented demand for InfoDyne technology. TS-Associates shares our quality standards and reinforces our own expertise enabling InfoDyne to better support multinational, UK, and European trading firms. We welcome their participation in the Alliance Program."
