Brainpower NV (Deutsche Börse - Prime Standard: BPW), provider of analytic applications, technology and data management solutions to the investment management community, is pleased to announce that it has further strengthened its position as a leader in the private banking sector having secured contracts, based on its nX series product family, with Louvre Gestion in Paris (a part of HSBC Private Bank) and Banca Popolare di Verona e Novara in Milan.
Louvre Gestion will implement Brainpower's products for use in fund screening and analysis as well as fund-of-fund portfolio construction, analysis and reporting. The Bank's specialists will be able to run complex multi-dimensional screening and scoring algorithms as part of their fund selection process and will also be in a position to apply sophisticated and flexible portfolio construction and risk and performance monitoring to the fund-of-fund portfolio management processes.
Adam Stanford, COO of Brainpower, commented: "The rollout of Brainpower technology at Louvre Gestion is a testimony of Brainpower's capability to service the needs of major financial services groups, across geographies and businesses." This new project is in fact a further step in a process started two years ago that saw Brainpower's technology being implemented internationally on the desks of advisors at HSBC Private Bank. Mr. Stanford added: "Thanks to a common platform, HSBC Private Bank is in a position to harness the expertise present in key competence centers and deliver this investment intelligence ever closer to client-facing functions distributed geographically in various countries."
At Banca Popolare di Verona e Novara Brainpower's platform and services will support the Bank's high-net-worth private client advisory team. The technology will deliver market screening and analysis tools and portfolio analysis and management tools, as well as sophisticated client reporting capabilities, to the advisory specialists. Central to the advisory solution implemented is Brainpower's proactive market and portfolio monitoring technology that will enable the Bank to receive timely, relevant and actionable information in the form of notifications. This information flow is pivotal to the Bank's advisory service offering for its dynamic private client base. For the first time ever the market and portfolio monitoring technology will be implemented with intra-day capabilities, making capturing opportunities for clients a near-real-time process. This in its self will enable Banca Popolare di Verona e Novara to offer an outstanding, and unprecedented, level of service to its private clients.
Mr. Stanford concludes: "These two deals strengthen Brainpower's leading position in the industry of investment intelligence solutions and have a material impact on the fourth quarter's results."
