The software will provide KAS, based in Amsterdam, with the ability to manage the full securities trading lifecycle electronically with resulting improvements in efficiency and customer service.

4sight was chosen following an extensive review of solution providers, and the selection was made in accordance with KAS Bank's philosophy of delivering real added value to its clients through the use of the most advanced and robust technology systems available.

Roeland de Groot, Head of Treasury of KAS Bank N.V. comments: "KAS identified the potential benefits and cost savings that a vendor solution for securities finance could bring to its lending operations and decided that a system at the cutting edge of technology was required. The combination of advanced software functionality, technical expertise and in depth knowledge of securities finance made 4sight a natural choice for the project. 4sight's proven track record of successful implementations and broad client base were also key to the award."

"We are delighted that 4Sight Securities Finance has been selected as KAS Bank's solution of choice," says Judith McKelvey, Global Sales Director, 4sight Financial Software. "The software will provide KAS with a reliable, state of the art system that assists decision making, reduces risk, and helps KAS deliver real added value to its clients through an expansion in trading opportunities. The announcement marks another major addition to 4sight's existing client base in the Netherlands, and is indicative of the company's continuing global expansion in the securities lending market."
