Vio, the innovative digital P2P transfer platform powered by Ethereum and Visa Direct has today announced an exclusive partnership with Eidoo in order to launch a utility token sale on February 19th 2018.
By harnessing the power of mobile phones and reducing dependency on cash as the starting and end point for P2P transfers, Vio aims to become the leading digital platform for remittances in Africa (www.viome.io).
Vio’s P2P money system utilises the Ethereum blockchain as a mechanism to instantly send and receive funds (domestically and internationally) and Visa Direct in order to disburse fiat currency seamlessly, securely and quickly into a user’s Visa Debit card.
Held exclusively on the Eidoo ICO Engine, the Vio token sale will start from 12 PM GMT on 19th February 2018 and will end on 2nd March 2018 or whenever the hard cap is reached. 250M VIO will go on sale at a rate of 10,000 VIO token per 1 ETH. By using Eidoo, Vio is choosing not only a higher level of security for token sale participants but also a smooth user experience.
To participate in the Vio token sale, contributors just need to download Eidoo’s user-friendly cryptocurrency wallet on their smartphones. The Eidoo mobile app is free, and both available for iOS and Android. Contributors will also have to KYC (Know Your User) their profile via Eidoo’s ICO Engine. This can be whitelisted prior or during the token sale.
In March, Vio will also provide an airdrop of VIO tokens for all Eidoo wallet users, including those who have participated in the Vio token sale, which will be distributed accordingly between the Eidoo wallet users.
