LienVietPostBank goes live on BPC's SmartVista

BPC Banking Technologies, a world leading provider of payment solutions, is pleased to announce that LienVietPostBank (LVPB) has successfully migrated MasterCard credit, debit and prepaid card products as well as local NAPAS debit card from its legacy Electra System to the SmartVista platform.

The turnkey project included connecting all of the banks existing ATMs and integrating with the Flex Cube core banking system and all other channels like IVR, call center, internet and mobile banking systems.

LienVietPostBank with this project has consolidated various separate individual systems with SmartVista suite of products to have a flexible solution easy for configuring and enabling speed to market launch of new products. LVPB has aggressive plans to increase its credit card portfolio and with the new card management system from BPC the bank is now also equipped with an e-PIN service, a new SMS notification gateway, customized reporting and GL configuration. The SmartVista CMS and Switch solution from BPC interfaces with the local NAPAS payment network and with the international MasterCard payment system.

To support the bank’s strategy aiming to become a leading retail and universal bank in Vietnam - “A bank for everyone” - BPC will implement additional solutions and features in a phased approach including ACS (3DS), collection, scoring, fraud prevention system, Microfinance loan module. The bank now has a single scalable and available platform to support its plan for aggressive business growth in Vietnam.

The new SmartVista platform is used by all of the Vietnam Post offices and branch users of LVPB. In total approximately 500,000 cards types and 120 ATMs were migrated to the new SmartVista platform.
