As part of the integration of Aduno SA, acquired from the Aduno Group in August, SIX has decided to consolidate its locations in the business area Payment Services.
Consequently, the locations in Bedano and Oerlikon are to be closed. Up to 100 positions at SIX Payment Services are set to be reduced. A consultation process has been launched.
In August, SIX purchased the acquiring and terminal business (card acceptance and processing) of the Aduno Group. As part of the integration process, SIX will be bring all the existing offices together at one location - its Zurich head office. The Bedano and Oerlikon branches will be closed at the end of 2018. The move will affect up to 100 positions within SIX Payment Services throughout Switzerland.
SIX has launched a consultation process with a view to identifying potential alternatives to the proposed job reductions. A social plan will be offered to all affected employees. It is anticipated that some of the positions will be eliminated through natural staff fluctuation by the end of 2018.
