Efma appoints Citi Fintech CEO Yolande Piazza as chairwoman
Efma, the leading non-profit global networking forum for senior decision makers across banking and insurance industries, is delighted to announce the appointment of its first chairwoman, Yolande Piazza, CEO of Citi FinTech.

In this leadership role, Piazza brings decades of expertise in financial services technology to her leadership role to connect Efma members with Fintechs and the broader financial services ecosystem. Piazza, who is based in New York, will also be Efma’s first chair from an American bank.
Commenting on her appointment, Piazza said: “I am honored and delighted to serve as Chairwoman of Efma. Efma is ideally placed at the center of innovation, customers, and financial services, to drive progress across the industry. I look forward to collaborating with Efma’s members and the Efma leadership team in my new role.”
This new role follows Yolande Piazza’s recent appointment to the UN Women Global Innovation Coalition for Change (GICC), which is focused on developing the innovation market to work better for women and to accelerate the achievement of gender equality and women’s empowerment. She hopes to take the experience gained from her involvement with GICC and use it to benefit the Efma community.
