Nokas, the leading player in the operation of ATMs, have renewed their agreement with Nets regarding acquiring of Visa- and MasterCard transactions.

The agreement covers all of Nokas' ATMs in Norway, Sweden and Finland. Nets won the contract after an RPP in competition with several other vendors, and the new agreement will run for five years.

During recent years, Nokas has deployed new ATMs in areas where these have been needed, and taken over the operation of ATMs in connection to different bank offices, various shopping malls and other important junctions.

With this agreement, Nets will handle the acquiring and settlement of all Visa- and MasterCard transactions from Nokas' ATMs in Norway, Sweden and Finland.

Director Strategy & Business Development at Nokas, Arne-Christian Gnutzmann says:
"Stable and efficient payment solutions are important for us. Nets was also able to include new card-schemes and services like dynamic currency conversion, making foreign cardholders retrieve their transactions in their own currency. These value-added services together with our requirements of service and quality in the solutions were essential for us."

Ole-Thomas Bull, Director of Sales, Merchant Services at Nets says:
"We are very pleased that Nokas decided to renew and extend the agreement with us, and we look forward to a good cooperation in the years to come."
