IPC, a leading provider of trading floor communications solutions for the global financial trading community, and Parlano Inc., a leading provider of persistent group chat, enterprise instant messaging, and presence management solutions, announced today that they have entered into a global value added reseller (VAR) agreement.

Under the terms of this agreement, IPC will provide the financial services community with Parlano's MindAlign suite of solutions in combination with its broad range of trading floor communications offerings.

With this combined solution IPC will be able to provide its customers with complete, multi-modal communications and collaboration. "For over 30 years IPC has been first-to-market with many unique financial trading solutions. By combining Parlano's proven, high-value group chat solution with IPC's trading communications offerings we continue to set the pace for leading edge solutions," said Lance Boxer, chief executive officer of IPC. "Parlano's approach and solution are aligned with IPC's Enterprise Strategy, allowing us to provide increasingly valuable communications and information management solutions to desktops across our customers' enterprise worldwide."

"MindAlign has proven its ability to help organizations react more quickly to market changes and make better, faster, more profitable decisions by allowing globally-dispersed traders, sales staff, research analysts, and partners to form a virtual trading floor where news, ideas, and decisions are quickly and easily exchanged," stated Nick Fera chairman and chief executive officer of Parlano. "The combined IPC/Parlano solution will extend the power of voice and text collaboration from the trader's desktop to the rest of the organization. Their decision to embrace Parlano's solutions is a testament to our customer's success and IPC's broad vision for the future of communications in financial services."
