The new agreement represents revenue of NOK 300 million for EDB in 2008.

The current main agreement between EDB and SpareBank 1 runs to 31 December 2007. The extended agreement will run from 1 January 2006 to 31 December 2008. The new main agreement will also include Romsdal Fellesbank now that it has been merged into SpareBank 1 Midt-Norge. Romsdal Fellesbank's current agreement with EDB will accordingly terminate.

The SpareBank 1-alliance comprises SpareBank 1 Midt-Norge, SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge, Bank 1 Oslo, SpareBank 1 SR-Bank and the 15 banks that are included in Samarbeidende Sparebanker (Samspar).
