Belzberg Broker Network connects to Thomson's AutEx system

Thomson Financial, an operating unit of The Thomson Corporation (TSX: TOC, NYSE: TOC), and leading provider of information and technology solutions to the global financial community, today announced an agreement with Belzberg Technologies Inc. (TSX: BLZ - News), Toronto, Canada, that will provide access to a comprehensive group of over 30 Canadian brokers and equity markets via the Thomson AutEx Network for electronic order routing and execution reporting. Thomson AutEx, a market neutral provider, provides direct access to domestic and international exchanges, ECNs, and options and futures boards.

Under terms of the agreement, the Belzberg Broker Network will be connected to the Thomson AutEx Order Routing system to create the most extensive network coverage for order routing in all North American and global markets. Through one concentrated network, Thomson clients using Thomson AutEx Order Routing will have access to an extensive global trading community, which now includes Canada, while Belzberg clients will have access to a broad range of major global institutions.
