Columba and Telekurs Financial have combined their expertise in order to deliver a highly effective corporate actions management solution to LCH.Clearnet.

This solution enhances their ability to maintain trading positions and efficiently process settlement transactions.

The aggregation and monitoring of data from a wide variety of sources is a time-consuming process that is susceptible to a raft of potential errors. However, LCH.Clearnet's corporate actions solution uses a consolidated source of premium, international corporate actions content from Telekurs Financial, whose database of over 2.4 million financial instruments is unparalleled, both in terms of depth and breadth of data coverage. This content is combined with Columba's web-based, knowledge management platform. This customisable platform allows Telekurs Financial’s data and LCH.Clearnet's in-house future events data to be aggregated, manipulated and distributed internally.

Dean Ratcliffe, founder and CEO of Columba, commented: "It was a pleasure to work with Telekurs Financial and LCH.Clearnet. We feel we have delivered a true market-leading solution for corporate actions and indeed other back office transactions."

Beat Koch, CEO of Telekurs (U.K.) Ltd stated: "Telekurs Financial is delighted that once again, our customisable solutions and strong data offering have enabled a partner firm to provide a joint client with exactly the solution they required. We look forward to continuing to work closely with Columba to help other clients in the future."
