SEI (NASDAQ:SEIC), a leading global provider of asset management services and investment technology solutions, announced today that Barry O'Rourke has been appointed as Managing Director of SEI's Dublin-based fund accounting, fund administration and shareholder services business.

Barry joins SEI from HSBC Alternative Fund Services (formerly Bank of Bermuda) where he was Director and Head of Alternative Fund Administration for their Irish-based Securities Services business. In his role, where he spent 10 years, Barry was directly responsible for successfully setting up the alternative investments division in Dublin. Prior to joining HSBC in Dublin, Barry spent 5 years at Bank of Bermuda in Luxembourg.

Commenting on the appointment, Steve Meyer, Head of SEI's Investment Manager Services business, said:

"We are delighted to welcome Barry to our Global Fund Services business in Dublin. Barry's considerable experience within the Irish Fund Administration industry will prove invaluable in his new role as Managing Director and we are confident that under his leadership the business will continue to grow significantly. We aim to provide our clients with a foundation of quality fund accounting and administration services, allowing them to focus on managing and growing their business. We have experienced considerable success in Dublin over the last ten years and look forward to having Barry share in our continued success."

SEI's Dublin-based Global Fund Services business was established in November 1995 and has witnessed considerable growth over the last ten years. Overall, SEI services over 600 alternative funds with approximately euro 59 ($70) billion in assets.
