Dow Jones Newswires today announced that Crowell, Weedon & Company, a full-service stock brokerage and money management firm, has signed on to the "Dow Jones Wealth Manager Direct" solution.

Launched in September, "Dow Jones Wealth Manager Direct" is a relationship-building solution that arms financial advisers with frequent, substantive reasons to contact clients and deepen relationships. "Dow Jones Wealth Manager Direct" automatically matches client information - such as professional and personal interests, portfolio holdings, and investment objectives - to Dow Jones' news stories and information. Financial advisers use the resulting news items to initiate contact with prospective clients and strengthen relationships with established customers.

"From day one, Crowell, Weedon has distinguished itself by providing clients with personalized service and customized investment strategies," said Andrew Crowell, managing partner, Crowell, Weedon & Company. "Now, Dow Jones Wealth Manager Direct will enable us to bring that approach to an even wider audience, giving us the capacity to communicate with every client, every day, on the issues they care most about."

"Dow Jones Wealth Manager Direct" is accessed using a Web browser - with no need for on-site installation or maintenance. Users can begin building client profiles and contacting customers about the topics they care about most within minutes of signing up. The service draws on the leading news sources from Dow Jones - including Dow Jones Newswires, The Wall Street Journal, SmartMoney and Barron's - as well as other prominent third-party publications.

"Our research clearly proves that when financial advisers communicate more frequently with their clients, it results in more referrals and assets under management increase," said Joseph Lanza, vice president, sales and marketing, Dow Jones Newswires - Americas. "We are pleased to be working with Crowell, Weedon as they apply their client-centric philosophy to an expanding customer base."
