Auriga, a leading European software solutions supplier for the banking and payments industry, has achieved the important German national banking certification "Deutsche Geldautomaten-System Zulassung" for its WWS ATM solution from the Deutschen Kreditwirtschaft (DK), the German banking industry committee.

DK sets common standards for banking institutions in Germany and its ATM certification is highly regarded as an important requirement for all ATM industry suppliers to sell and deploy their solutions in Germany.

German financial institutions can now deploy Auriga’s WWS ATM solution, a proven, fully integrated ATM management software, and leverage its Web-ATM, a highly scalable solution that enables banks to centrally manage ATMs from different hardware vendors and on different networks. Using WWS ATM German banks can extract much more value and provide better service to their customers using their traditional ATM networks while also more seamlessly integrating this channel with their online, mobile and branch channels as part of an omnichannel service strategy.

The WWS ATM solution from Auriga means German banks can transform their ATM networks and offer customers a much wider range of services with over 100 ATM-based innovative functions and services such as accounts configuration, bill payments, money transfers, and cardless withdrawals to enhance customer service while reducing operational costs significantly.

The certification provides independent confirmation of how successfully Auriga’s software can perform on any ATM hardware used by German banks. The WWS ATM solution is multivendor and hardware agnostic and its improvements in customer services can be deployed across existing and new fleets of self-service devices (ATM, assisted service devices and self-service terminals and kiosks); and be integrated with other banking applications including web and mobile banking to offer clients a seamless and enjoyable banking experience.

For Auriga, the DK certification represents another important step in its international business expansion in the German region.

Vincenzo Fiore, CEO of Auriga said:
“Even though Germany has one of the highest ATM cash withdrawal rates in Europe, its banks offer the most basic functions which often aren’t managed as part of an omnichannel bank strategy. While we have been present in this market since the opening of our office in Frankfurt in 2015, this certification is an important recognition of how German banks can partner with us to transform their services and respond to new expectations for a seamless, rich customer experience across branch, web, mobile and ATM banking. As we move forward, the ATM channel is going to play a vital role in the customer-bank relationship, and the automation of traditional teller transactions is often a major element of branch transformation strategies to fully leverage the advantages of modern assisted-service devices."
