Information is provided for each product on its core functionality, its underlying technology and on the vendor providing the solution itself. This service follows from a detailed survey previously provided in 2003 by Raging Torrents International to some 120 institutions globally.

The database is also unique in that it is maintained by the vendors themselves, so will remain up-to-date as new functionality is added to products and new customer contracts are won. Vendors can also upload their own marketing materials for subscribers to download and consider. RiskBusiness maintains a constant watch for new products, inviting new players to add their products whenever suitable solutions are identified."
