App-only bank for foreign residents in Europe opens for pre-registration

europeone, the next-gen financial start-up, showcased its concept to over a thousand attendees at one of London’s prime fintech events, the United Fintech DemoDay, The event was organized by Startupbootcamp FinTech, the leading accelerator focused on financial innovation that has been supporting europeone since May 2016.

Focusing on the 30m+ Europeans residing outside of their home countries, the future mobile-only bank will offer a “borderless banking” account that will work seamlessly across countries and currencies of the European continent. europeone’s presentation was among the best attended and generated overwhelming strong interest during the United Fintech DemoDay Event.

europeone opens its virtual doors to first customers for pre-registrations on its new website (www.europeone.com) and its planning to launch its operations in mid-2017. europeone has successfully closed its angel investment round oversubscribing it by almost 40% and is looking to launch its first seed round campaign in early 2017.

europeone was chosen as one of the fintech startups to join Startupbootcamp FinTech 2016 accelerator program from among 400 startups across 66 countries.

Labour mobility is on the rise on the European continent with about 3 million people moving to another EU country every year to live, work, study or retire. Almost all of them experience significant problems accessing financial services when moving to a new country. europeone understands unique needs of its customers and has developed its product range to carefully address the requirements of fast growing European ex-pat community.

With one single account obtained within minutes with only one form of an ID, europeone customers can make payments, track their spending, and instantly transfer money at unbeatable rates on their smartphones. With joint accounts, banking operations and client support in one’s native language, europeone wants to reduce the physical distance between customers and their families.
