Expert global payments provider, Equiniti International Payments, today announces that Nick Pedersen has been appointed as its new Managing Director.

Based at Equiniti International Payments’ head office in London, Pederson will be instrumental in strengthening the team and delivering growth in the UK and will report into Equiniti Financial Services’ Chief Executive Officer, Mark Taylor. Nick begins his role on 19 October.

Nick’s track record of growing businesses and developing innovative products in the financial services sector includes six years at Citigroup, where he was most recently responsible for growing the bank’s fintech and payments portfolio of clients, as well as their product suite, after joining the bank to build out their mid-cap Corporate Foreign Exchange sales business. Nick also has two years’ worth of experience as a crude oil derivatives broker at Tradition Financial Services.

Mark Taylor said: “We are delighted that Nick is joining the Equiniti International Payments team as we look to expand this part of the business. We are fast becoming the provider of choice for international payroll organisations looking for a competent international payments provider. Nick’s six years at Citigroup as Vice President of FX Corporate Sales makes him ideally suited for the role and I am confident he will bring focus and considerable insight to the team”.

Nick Pedersen commented: “I am excited to be joining a market leading organisation. Equiniti International Payments is driven by ambition and a strong commitment to delivering the right payment, to the right people, at the right time. Its proposition is compelling, and I very much look forward to leading the business forward and being part of a strong and successful team”.
