Digital money transfer service WorldRemit has partnered with leading Cameroonian financial company Express Union to further support the growing demand for instant remittances to Cameroon.
WorldRemit customers can now send overseas money transfers to be collected at over 700 Express Union cash pick up locations.
Remittances play an important role in Cameroon’s economy - Cameroon received $244m in remittances in 2015 according to the World Bank, more than double the amount in 2010.
