Experian has chosen JWARE Authorization, JWARE POS, JWARE Switch, JWARE Security, the JWARE RCB/e-rsb Gateway, and the JWARE Development Studio. In addition two Experian development engineers have joined the JWARE development teams atJWARE’s research and development facility in Caen, so that Experian can learn to fully master the applications and pilot the system’s evolution internally.

The current Experian network is composed of several best-of-breed solutions from a multitude of vendors. Processing secure transactions for banks in France, this network must be 100% reliable. Experian was therefore looking for a way to unify their network that would maintain and improve upon their current reliability levels even during the integration phase. They also needed a system that would last for the next 10 years, and that they could manage and easily change themselves.

JWARE Secure Transaction Suite was the answer. As a true software product, it features complete product and configuration documentation and includes up to date version management instead of a more costly custom developed solution that needs to be supported by a third party. This was one of the most decisive features that influenced the Experian decision. Moreover, since JWARE suites are developed in JAVA/J2EE, Experian was confident that the technological footprint would remain relevant in the future.

The software can also be entirely managed by ourselves, both at an application development level and at a system administration level for day to day operations," said Thierry Perbet, project director of Experian.

Experian has conducted extensive tests of the JWARE software to ensure that it can reliably manage their volume requirements. Product integration has already been achieved for an application that will go into production this fall.
