BraveNewCoin. (BNC), provider of cryptocurrency pricing and analytics data, and RIMES Technologies Corporation, leading financial data aggregator, today announced a partnership to distribute end-of-day cryptocurrency pricing and analytics to RIMES’ global clients.

The RIMES Managed Data Service (MDS) is a fully managed service delivered by experts in all aspects of data management and governance. It includes the RIMES Benchmark Data Service®; the RIMES Reference Data Service; and the RIMES Data Governance Service.

RIMES Technologies has has won three awards in 2016: “Best Managed Service for Reference Data” at the Inside Reference Data Awards 2016; “Best Data Management Solution” at the Wall Street Letter Awards 2016 - second consecutive year; and “Best Operational Data Provider” at the FTF News Technology Innovation Awards 2016.

BNC builds industry benchmarks and custom indices for tracking crypto-currencies and other digital assets. With the emerging digital asset classes, getting a clear perspective on pricing and performance is critical to investment and asset management decisions. Market insights and benchmarks can be applied to trading strategies, asset allocation, portfolio analysis and risk management.

BNC creates Indices for investable products - ETPs, synthetics, derivatives - as crypto-currencies and digital assets are rapidly emerging as recognized instruments for hedging, yield and risk-management purposes. A robust Index can provide an instant snapshot of a market or asset.

With this new partnership, RIMES’ clients have the ability to receive BNC bitcoin pricing from RIMES Benchmark Data Service, for use in their local databases or analytic tools. The BNC index, 'Bitcoin Liquid Index' (BLX), provides tick by tick data from eight of the most liquid exchanges in the bitcoin space.

“We are excited to be partnering with RIMES because of their high-quality customer service and ability to seamlessly integrate any data into clients’ systems,” said Fran Strajnar, CEO of BraveNewCoin “We are eager to support innovative service providers such as RIMES, giving us a new global partner through which their clients can access our data.”
