Payveris, the leading provider of a next generation open API, cloud-based digital payment and money movement platform for U.S. financial institutions announces the addition of Chuck Carr as senior vice president of product management.

As senior vice president of product management, Carr is responsible for leading and executing initiatives that enhance Payveris’ digital payment capabilities and expansion into additional payment networks. He will be responsible for creating new capabilities that empower U.S. banks and credit unions to take more control of the digital payments experience, reduce operating costs, and accelerate the creation of innovative new payment services.

Carr is an experienced financial services veteran who has shaped several leading FinTech payment companies over the last two decades. He joins the Payveris team with more than 25 years of experience in product management, business development and product marketing across companies ranging from start-ups to major corporations. His tenure spans industry leading payment firms such as FIS, CheckFree/Fiserv, Intuit Financial Services and Bottomline Technologies.

“Payveris is delivering a very innovative payments platform and ecosystem of services, providing a unique opportunity for community financial institutions to combat the growing reach of non-bank FinTech payments providers into their customer base,” said Mr. Carr. “I look forward to using my product management expertise to enhance Payveris’ financial institution-centric product offerings and to support the overall growth of the company.”

“As a veteran who has shaped new product development for a range of industry leading companies, Chuck is an extremely valuable addition to the Payveris team,” said Fran Duggan, chief innovations officer at Payveris. “We look forward to taking advantage of Chuck’s experience and track-record of bringing innovative new payment products to market.”

Carr has received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Drexel University in Philadelphia.
