Exactly three years after launching the first version of their comparison platform for international money transfer services, the Switzerland-based startup TawiPay announced today their rebranding under the new name “Monito”.
“We are thrilled to unveil our new name Monito and our new brand identity. It’s catchy, easy to remember and it beautifully embodies our vision and ambition.”, announced François Briod, CEO of Monito.
Along with this new identity, a revamped version of Monito’s website was made available on the 22nd of August, featuring the first search engine for money transfer services. Users can find in-depth analyses, multi-criteria scores, step-by-step guides, security information and customer reviews on over 450 money transfer providers and banks.
“We found that our users not only need to find which provider is the cheapest for their next transfer, but also want to know more about the companies and services they discover on our platform.”, explains Briod.
With this additional layer of information, Monito is taking one step further on its mission of bringing complete transparency to the international money transfer industry. The company has already helped 270’000 users find better options for their international money transfers, and has ambitious growth plans for the coming months.
