Banc Intranets, a provider of secure, web-based enterprise content management solutions for financial institutions, announced that Dime Community Bank implemented its BancWorks® employee intranet to engage employees and increase its file sharing efficiencies across its 25 branches.

Headquartered in Brooklyn, N.Y. and with more than $5.5 billion in assets, Dime Community Bank sought a premier state-of-the-art solution to replace its existing file sharing system. After considering several alternatives, Dime Community Bank selected BancWorks for its scalability, adaptability and responsiveness, as well as the support provided by Banc Intranets’ technical team.

The centralization provided by BancWorks will allow the bank to more accurately measure efficiencies, such as the amount of time and resources saved, while also engaging employees with surveys and increasing security and privacy for specific departments.

“Our previous file sharing system lacked the ability to store and search for important documents and with our rapid growth, it became evident that we needed something much more effective,” said Joseph Raitano, vice president of Digital at Dime Community Bank. “BancWorks is a huge leap from what we were using. Not only is it a state-of-the-art, full service employee portal that our employees and management enjoy using, but the implementation process was one of the simplest I’ve seen.”

“At the core of any successful organization is the seamless and secure accessibility to information and such an initiative is a result of an intelligent leadership team,” said Mark Anderson, CEO of Banc Intranets. “As a trusted financial institution for more than 150 years, Dime Community Bank understands that satisfying its mission to deliver superior results to its customers and communities begins with providing them with the tools necessary to perform at the highest level. And with an environment that engages employees across multiple locations, Dime is also fostering new ideas that will contribute to its ongoing success.”
