The Logic Group, a leading provider of omni-channel Managed Payment Services, today announced it has achieved Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) v3.1 for all its managed payment services.

This marks another year in which full compliance has been achieved. The Logic Group’s customers in the retail, finance and transport industries will benefit from the continued security and peace of mind that PCI compliance brings.

This follows The Logic Group’s accreditation to the Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA DSS) v3.1; and the first worldwide accreditation for Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE) v2.0 for its Ingenico solution, both earlier this year. The combination of these allows the Logic Group to offer services that operate within the most stringent levels of control in the marketplace.

Philip Brown, Director of Technology and Operations at The Logic Group, commented: “Data security is the security of your brand; it ensures your reputation and creates the element of trust that the relationship with your customers relies on. The Logic Group is committed to ensuring that all our solutions are held to the highest level of compliance, taking the complexity out of payments so that our clients can focus on what they do best.”

PCI DSS compliance impacts every organisation which stores, processes or transmits card data. With global credit card fraud volumes expected to reach $35 billion by 2020[1], protecting consumer data is one of the biggest challenges facing businesses today. Meeting all these requirements ensures that every single payment processed by The Logic Group can be guaranteed to meet a level of security that protects the brand and customers of every business.
