TIM, by way of its technology partnership with SIA (through subsidiary TSP), has made POS MultiPay terminals operative in over 2,200 stores in its sales network in Italy, with the aim of extending the methods of electronic payment for its offers.

Thanks to the latest generation POS terminal network developed by SIA, TIM’s prepaid mobile phone customers will be able, via debit card, to set up direct debits for services and offers on their bank or post office current account, without having to worry any longer about regular top-ups.

The MultiPay terminals enable the management of requests to activate recurrent payments in a simple, secure manner, also without the need for the customer’s IBAN code. With this new payment method, which goes to join the already existing direct debit on credit cards, consumers can even purchase a smartphone in installments.

Through this initiative customers will benefit considerable advantages such as permanent doubling of gigabits of data and voice calls minutes, alongside the exists debit on a credit card.
