Electra Information Systems (Electra), the leading provider of state-of-the-art reconciliation solutions for the asset management industry, today announced the appointment of Paul Chung to the role of Vice President - Client Services.

Chung joins Electra at a time of growth for the company. Demand for automated post-trade operation and robust data collection and transformation solutions continued to rise in 2015, driving an increase in Electra’s client base by 20%. While all its solutions contributed to Electra’s growth, particular strength was evident in Electra’s reconciliation solutions and subscriptions to its extensive data network.

In the newly created role, Chung will be responsible for managing the overall customer experience for Electra Reconciliation clients during and after implementation. This includes organizing and managing the efforts of the Consulting Services staff, developing metrics and feedback opportunities for Electra and its clients, and coordinating the implementation activities of the Consulting, Data, Support and IT teams, with a goal of continuously improving the quality of implementations. Based at Electra’s New York headquarters, Chung will report to Scott Rhodes, Chief Operating Officer.

“We are seeing more demand for broadened application of reconciliation products and services extending beyond traditional reconciliations with banks and primes. This creates a need for somebody who deeply understands many different types of reconciliations and who can leverage the flexibility of our solutions to benefit all stakeholders at our clients,” said Rhodes. “Paul’s experience, industry expertise, and deep understanding of the fundamental principles of the business will further propel excellent client experiences and contribute to long term growth.”

Chung brings to Electra more than 17 years’ experience from SS&C Technologies, where he worked in a variety of capacities across sales, consulting and relationship management. He began his career at Financial Models Company as a Consultant delivering performance measurement and reconciliation solutions.

“I am excited to join a company which generates unmatched client and employee loyalty,” said Chung. “Electra Reconciliation has for many years been the most intuitive and comprehensive reconciliation system in the industry. A growing user base supported by a focused approach to client service will ensure that Electra Reconciliation stays two steps ahead of the competition.

Chung is a graduate of Western University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government.
