Both organisations will work together to champion diversity in the science, technology, engineering, maths (STEM) sectors through mutual collaboration and projects.

The partnership will enable CaSE to forge closer FinTech ties with its initiatives while providing a platform for Innovate Finance members to work closer with government, businesses and academic communities within the science community. In addition, CaSE will help represent FinTech on a broader platform within the political and academic community including work supporting STEM education and diversity outreach.

Lawrence Wintermeyer, CEO of Innovate Finance said: “Our mission is to support the creation of a better future for financial services by championing the next generation of technologies and visionaries and encouraging collaboration within our ecosystem. Creating a more inclusive sector is key to that vision and we hope that our partnership with CaSE will help us to create the conditions for a more diverse and skilled workforce in finance.”

Director of CaSE, Sarah Main, said: “I am delighted to work with Innovate Finance to champion diversity in FinTech and the STEM workforce more broadly. FinTech is a highly innovative industry whose success lies in the flow of talented people to the sector. Our partnership will enable CaSE to highlight the needs of the finance sector in the active political arena supporting STEM diversity, jobs and talent.”

CaSE has worked extensively in the last thirty years to raise the political profile of science and engineering and to campaign for policies and investment that support a thriving STEM sector.
