OFG Bancorp (NYSE:OFG) today announced that its Oriental Bank subsidiary has become the first financial institution in Puerto Rico to launch a mobile banking app for commercial clients.
With Oriental Biz, as the new app is named, business clients can check balances, transfer funds between accounts, make payments, deposit checks, and approve ACH transactions and wire transfers. They also can check activity and payment history of all their accounts, plus find Oriental ATM and branch locations.
Until now, these services had only been available on mobile platforms to retail clients using the Oriental mobile app. Oriental Biz can be downloaded from Google Play (click here) for Android devices and from Apple’s iTunes (click here) for iOS devices.
Oriental also has launched Business Plus, a checking account that bundles for added convenience a Master Card debit card, access to online banking and Oriental Biz, and optional savings account and credit line.
