EToro adds Robert Brown as non-exec director

EToro, the world’s leading social trading network, has appointed Robert Brown as its latest non-executive director in the UK.

The new appointment to the board of directors further strengthens eToro’s ongoing expansion with London as a key strategic hub for the business.

He will join founder and CEO Yoni Assia; UK MD of finance and operations, Paul Chrimes; COO Avi Sela; and fellow non-executive director Tony Wollenberg as directors of eToro UK.

Brown brings over 20 years of experience in the finance industry, having worked as Chief Operating Officer in Global Financial Markets for ABN AMRO. Most recently he served as Head of Global Research and Investments at Barclays, and was a member of their Wealth Executive Committee. Following his appointment, Brown will also continue in his current role as Director of Strategic Initiatives at global law firm, Shearman & Sterling.
