Proxama, PLC, a leading provider of digital payment solutions for card issuing banks and processors, is proud to announce that it has completed integration of Discover’s contactless product D-PAS (D-Payment Application Specification) into its EMV enablement solution.

This EMV solution will support the roll out and use of Diners Club South Africa’s chip cards.

“The addition of D-PAS to our EMV enablement solution is a real milestone for Proxama,” said Patrick Regester, EVP for Strategic Accounts and Partnerships at Proxama’s Digital Payments Division. “Our EMV enablement solution’s ability to support any flavour of EMV contact and contactless application both for card issuing and authorisation makes it the most flexible, lowest risk and most cost effective means of migrating to EMV available to card issuers, with the added benefit that these tried and trusted components form the core of our mobile payments solution, providing a built-in roadmap to mobile.”
