LendInvest is shaking up banking by creating an online marketplace for mortgages. Co-founders Christian Faes and Ian Thomas have succeeded in bringing speed, efficiency and transparency to the traditionally cumbersome process of investing in property or taking out a mortgage. LendInvest has now lent £560 million to finance 2,100 properties in the UK, simplifying mortgages and loans by connecting people who want to invest their money with those who want to borrow. Through this straightforward process, they’re changing the way people invest in and finance property.

We’re excited to announce that we’ve completed a £17 million Series B equity investment in LendInvest, to ensure that their product is underpinned by the best technology, and to take their business to the next level. We’re looking forward to working with Christian and Ian to help them realise their vision and ambitions of disrupting the established lending industry and building a category winning business.

Atomico partner and co-founder Mattias Ljungman will be joining the board of LendInvest to work even more closely with the company as it grows its offer. LendInvest is already Europe’s largest marketplace platform for property and we’re proud to be involved in the next phase of its growth.
