Cogency Software, Inc., the provider of Smart Enterprise Solutions for financial services, today announced the appointment of Michael Poisson as vice president of sales.
In this role, Poisson will lead all Cogency's salesrelated activities - including the launch of the Cogency Insight Manager for Funds of Hedge Funds into the funds of hedge funds market - and be responsible for increasing the firm’s presence in its target alternative investment markets.

With 18 years of broad financial services experience, Poisson's results-driven, customer-centric approach has enabled him to lead sales and services organizations to record setting sales and customer satisfaction ratings. Prior to joining Cogency, Poisson was a senior vice president and managing director for SunGard Treasury Systems, where he led the enterprise treasury management business for North and South America to record license fee sales and increased Application Service Provider (ASP) recurring revenues by over 200%. He has also held senior sales management and managing director positions at SunGard and Multinational Computer Models, where he was continually recognized for his strong leadership skills and for his region's leading sales growth and sales revenue.
