Advent Software, Inc., (NASDAQ: ADVS), a leading provider of global investment management solutions, today announces a number of significant hires across the EMEA region to meet the continued demand for its investment management solutions.
The new additions bring an impressive array of industry knowledge and skills to the business covering a range of disciplines based throughout the EMEA region.
The new hires are focussed on the professional services and sales divisions and expand the firm's coverage across the EMEA region. The new additions to the professional services team include Kate Sharp who joins as Geneva Support Manager for the region and brings a wealth of experience from senior roles at Linedata Services and Thomson Financial.
There are also four new implementation consultants who will be based across EMEA. Darren Laurien, who previously worked at Goldman Sachs and Perpetual Investment, will cover UK & Ireland. There are three new consultants for the Nordic region: Jonas Nygren joins from Thomson Financial, Christian Nyberg joins from Accenture, and Petter Dybwad who previously worked at FMG (Hedge Fund) and ACTA.
In the sales division Tobias Schnyder joins as Regional Sales Director for Central Europe, previously working with Thomson Financial and Reuters. There are three new appointments for the UK sales team; Chris Cattermole joining from Linedata Services, Warwick Thurtell who previously worked with Princeton Financial Systems and Macgregor and finally, Tim Kemp joins from Caplin Systems as Pre-Sales Consultant.
In addition to the above, Nick Smith has also joined Advent as Legal Counsel, EMEA. Nick joins from Business Objects and brings many years of industry experience.
