Q2 Holdings, Inc. (QTWO), a leading provider of secure, cloud-based virtual banking solutions for regional and community financial institutions, announced today the opening of its newest location in Lincoln, Nebraska.
The location will serve as an expanded office space for recently acquired Centrix Solutions and Q2’s growing workforce.
After its successful acquisition of Centrix, a company that provides financial institutions with products that detect fraud, manage risk and simplify compliance, Q2 is relocating Centrix’s employees to an office that is nearly three times the size of its original space. Q2 is also planning to hire additional employees in the new Lincoln location including developers, project managers and implementation engineers.
“Centrix’s expansion to the new location signifies the next stage of our growth within the Q2 family,” said Tim Schnell, senior vice president of Centrix, a Q2 company. “The new expansive office is a validation of Q2’s commitment to Centrix and the Lincoln community. This will allow us to expand the Centrix team in addition to hiring local employees to work with the Q2 platform team.”
The new 20,000 sq ft office will be located in Lincoln’s Historic Haymarket District at 601 P Street just walking distance from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Centrix’s relationship with the University of Nebraska at Lincoln will continue through scholarships and internships with the computer science program. The Haymarket is a combination of historic and new buildings that provide a unique environment for the numerous technology companies that call it home.
“Acquiring knowledge and expertise from the Centrix team has been greatly beneficial to Q2,” said Matt Flake, CEO of Q2. “Our long-term lease will empower us to invest further in the Lincoln community by attracting and hiring the best and brightest in this vibrant technical market.”
The move into the new office is expected to take place in spring of 2016.
