Dirk supermarkets introduce mobile checkout with Seamless

Dirk, part of Detailresult Groep NV, which is one of the Netherlands largest retail corporations, introduces Seamless’ (OMX: SEAM) digital payment solution SEQ

The roll out has started with the launch of four DIRK supermarkets located in Leiden. Roll to all DIRK (107) and DekaMarkt (85) stores is expected to take place during Q1 2016.

Detailresult groep NV which has well over 190+ stores nationwide and an annual turnover of more than 2 billlion EUR. As well as DIRK and DekaMarkt, Detailresult Groep also includes the brands Dirck III and DekaTuin.

The SEQR mobile payment solution is simple and user friendly. Customers connect their bank account to the SEQR app and after scanning the QR code at checkout, payment is completed within a few taps of their phone. The transaction is completely safe for the user as no sensitive data is stored in or transferred from their mobile phone.

SEQR offers customers many benefits in addition to the convenience of paying with their mobile phone including the most generous rewards program on the market with up to 3 percent cashback on all purchases.

SEQR customers can also transfer money to each other, sell goods by creating digital ads in MyShop and sharing them on social media, save their receipts digitally, connect loyalty programs, pay for parking, and receive digital coupons and offers.
