nCino, the leader in cloud banking, announced today that Augusta, Ga.-based Georgia Bank & Trust has selected its Bank Operating System to advance the bank’s commercial loan workflow and provide transparency across the institution.

The $1.7 billion-asset Georgia Bank & Trust needed a solution that would simplify its commercial loan process while simultaneously improving lender efficiency. The bank has found a comprehensive answer to these pain points through the nCino Bank Operating System, which combines the functionality of multiple traditionally point solutions such as customer relationship management, business process management and reporting into a single secure cloud environment. The nCino platform helps automate the entire lending process, from lead generation through to pipeline management, and provides financial institutions a complete, up-to-the-minute view of each customer relationship as well as the entire loan portfolio at any time.

Jay Forrester, executive vice president and chief loan officer at Georgia Bank & Trust, said, “Because nCino was built by bankers for bankers, the platform has much of what we are looking for already built in. nCino’s Bank Operating System will reduce redundancies, automate execution of documents as well as statement follow-up and decrease turnaround time. Together, these enhancements will revamp our commercial loan processes and improve the overall customer experience.”

Forrester cited nCino’s Bank Operating System as making an immense improvement in overall process efficiency. He explained that previously the loan process was labor intensive and involved meticulous duplicative data entry. Now, the bank will be able to streamline the entire commercial loan process from end to end, while simultaneously providing absolute transparency to both the lenders and borrowers.

Georgia Bank & Trust also looks forward to the recently announced Customer Portal, now part of the nCino Bank Operating System. This consumer-facing gateway will make it easier for the bank to securely accept documentation from borrowers and integrate customer records into auto populating forms, perform cost analysis for the bank and customer and present eSignature options.

“It’s imperative for customer-oriented banks such as Georgia Bank & Trust to have the flexibility to assist customers anywhere and on any device,” said Josh Glover, senior vice president of community and regional financial institutions at nCino. “Through nCino’s newly mobile-optimized User Interface, the bank will be equipping its bankers to best serve its customers, even on the go. This mobility coupled with the seamless commercial loan workflow and depth of transparency is certain to enrich the way Georgia Bank & Trust sets itself apart as a viable lender in its community.”
