Global Processing Services FZ LLC (GPS), has implemented D8 StrongHold, a risk-management system, and so extended the services offered within its prepaid processing platform.

GPS is an established processor, accredited by both MasterCard and Visa (Europe and Inc.). Focusing principally on the prepaid space, GPS maintains a presence in Europe (including Poland and the UK), Dubai and India. It services clients throughout all 31 SEPA countries in Europe, and the Middle East, Australia, the US and Canada.

D8 StrongHold is a product of D8 Corporation, an IT system integrator and solution vendor for financial institutions, processing companies, e-money issuers, fleet-card processors and retailers. D8 Corporation has acquired broad experience providing services for organisations in more than 26 countries.

“GPS has had fraud-management facilities on its platform and environment for a number of years” said Vlad Yanpolsky, Chief Technical Officer of GPS. “We’re pleased to partner with D8, bringing our fraud detection and prevention services to a higher level. The decision to implement the D8 StrongHold fraud-management solution gives our clients the added benefit of real-time monitoring: the system is automated, checks every transaction for risky activity and then takes the necessary actions to prevent the fraud from happening. D8 StrongHold meets our risk-management requirements on running fraud prevention for complex and agile prepaid and debit programmes.”

“D8 Corporation’s solution of multi-institution configuration of D8 StrongHold has been used as part of the implementation project. It allows GPS to separate risk-management related services offered to its customers. D8 StrongHold detects and prevents fraudulent activities that are arriving from all channels of remote banking services by aggregating required statistics and using its advanced Business Rules Engine capabilities. D8 StrongHold reacts on fraud incidents in the real-time mode”, said Juris Ščerbickis, CEO at D8 Corporation.
