Payworks, the leading POS payment platform on the market, today announced the release of a white label software development kit (SDK) for clients of its white label mPOS Pay solution.

ConCardis, Germany’s largest Acquirer and provider of the mPOS solution ConCardis OptiPay, will be the first provider to release the new product to integrators.

With its white label mPOS Pay solution payworks enables Acquirers and ISOs to quickly launch an own branded mPOS product. The solution consists of a merchant facing mobile application with a Chip & PIN card reader, a web-based merchant dashboard as well as fully automated merchant onboarding and reader fulfillment processes.

The new white label SDK is an extension of the white label mPOS Pay solution that enables clients to offer an easy to use integration option of their product, opening up an opportunity to use third party application providers as resellers of the mPOS Pay product. The SDK allows the integration of the Chip & PIN reader into specialized merchant apps, e.g. tablet-based cashier systems, mobile taxi apps and logistics solutions. After the quick integration, the integrator’s merchants follow the standard, online boarding process of the white label mPOS Pay solution and can then use their accounts to accept payments in the integrated third party app.

Leading Acquirer ConCardis is the first client to launch this SDK for their ConCardis OptiPay product. Launch partners include merchant service providers in the retail, gastronomy and hospitality industries.

“It is exciting to see mPOS solutions in more and more integrated settings where traditional terminals would have been used previously,” says Christian Deger, co-founder & CEO of payworks. “Opening up our mPOS Pay product for integrators allows our clients to be part of this big movement with minimum effort.”
