Nicola Hortin joins AxiomSL as head of EMEA regulatory analysis

AxiomSL, a global provider of regulatory reporting and risk management solutions, announced today that Nicola Hortin has joined the company as Head of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Regulatory Analysis Team.

Hortin has more than 10 years’ experience in the regulatory space, including working at major banks and software companies.

The EMEA Regulatory Analysis Team performs a vital role at AxiomSL, monitoring and studying regulatory requirements. It provides technical guidance to AxiomSL’s Solutions and Implementation Teams, and directly to clients. Hortin will lead the team’s work on a wide range of topics, including Basel lll capital and liquidity requirements, Pillar 3 disclosures, the Standardized Approach for Measuring Counterparty Credit Risk Exposures (SA-CCR), the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB), shareholding disclosure rules and International Financial Reporting Standard 9 (IFRS 9).

Hortin has joined AxiomSL from JP Morgan, where she worked on a variety of regulatory reporting projects over the course of five years. Prior to that she worked for SECAM+, the provider of a capital calculations tool. Her experience includes implementing solutions for Capital Requirements Directive IV (CRD IV) calculations, Common Reporting (COREP), Bank of England disclosures and other regulations.
