Options, the leading managed service and IT infrastructure provider to the global capital markets industry, has today announced the appointment of the former NYSE Technologies sales executive, Helen Viccars, to the firm’s global sales team.
Ms. Viccars, who was responsible for EMEA sales and account management at NYSE Technologies, joins Options as VP Sales and Account Management.
As the latest addition to Options’ European sales and account management team, Helen will be responsible for driving new business growth, evolving relationships with key strategic clients and ensuring customer success across new and existing clients. Helen’s arrival follows the announcement last month that Options has opened a new central London office to accommodate growing staff numbers and facilitate expansion plans through the end of the year and into 2016.
In her new role with Options, Helen brings 12-plus years’ experience in sales, account management and marketing. During her five years at NYSE, Helen managed some of the company’s largest and most prestigious global accounts, and was primarily responsible for selling electronic trading solutions across the EMEA region.
Options Managing Director for Europe, Richard Hughes, commented, “I am delighted Helen is joining Options. She brings with her a wealth of experience in selling managed service solutions and this sector knowledge will prove an invaluable addition to the team. Alongside the expansion of our London office and a number of high-profile client wins, Helen’s arrival is indicative of a very positive 12 months for Options’ European business. She will play a key role in sustaining this momentum.”
Ms. Viccars commented, “Options has a well-earned reputation for delivering a platform that combines innovative financial technology with the consistent delivery of service excellence to clients, both small and large. The firm’s strategic vision is an exciting one and I am thrilled to be working with Nigel, Richard and the wider Options team.”
