Launched in 2003, Fidessa's Workstation provides data for European and North American markets and offers advanced trading and execution capabilities. This latest version builds upon the award-winning information displays and now offers charting capabilities which range from Bollinger Bands to Stochastics, MACD, Candlesticks and Bar Charts. AFX news now appears in newspaper-style displays highlighting the top stories of the day and with richer and easier to read content. The greater flexibility available allows users to customise the application to their own preferences – such as choose the screen's background colour - and the service now includes context-specific help pages.

Royalblue is committed to R&D and the Woking based development team has been working on Fidessa Workstation version 3.0 for the past six months. The new release will be rolled out remotely and the upgrade, which is available to all users for free, can take effect immediately.

Fidessa has already proved itself as a user friendly product. In January 2005, one of the largest stock-broking companies in the UK, asked each of its users to choose between their existing data workstation and three competing products. Over 90% chose Fidessa Workstation.
