SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq:SSNC), a global provider of financial services software and software-enabled services, today announced FBN Securities (FBN) has selected SS&C MarketTrader™ as its order management system (OMS).

The boutique institutional brokerage firm, which provides its clients with a variety of services including equity and derivative execution, investment research, comprehensive trading strategies, corporate access, capital introduction, and syndicate services, uses the platform to support its growing business.

FBN, established in 1983, is an independent broker dealer and a member of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC). FBN required a comprehensive, cost-effective solution for its order and execution management needs. MarketTrader enables the company to operate more efficiently at every step of the trading process: from order capture (via FIX or manually) to execution, transaction and compliance reporting.

“We held a rigorous review process when deciding upon which OMS we felt was the best fit for our firm. In the end, partnering with SS&C was an easy decision based on professionalism, expertise and technology. Together with SS&C, we are able to better serve our clients’ rapidly evolving needs,” said Gregory Naso, Managing Director at FBN. “The SS&C team worked around the clock to ensure a seamless OMS migration. We have been extremely pleased with the features and functionality.”

“We have been so impressed with the offering that we have already started integrating other SS&C services into our firm,” added Michael Naso, Managing Director & Head of Institutional Trading at FBN.

"We are delighted to have been selected by FBN, one of the leading boutique institutional broker-dealers,” said Bob Moitoso, Senior Vice President and General Manager, SS&C Financial Markets division. “We are equally pleased with the continued expansion of MarketTrader’s client base, solidifying our position as a valued partner in helping broker-dealers meet the demands of a challenging marketplace.”
