ClearView installs Financial Synergy’s Acurity platform

Clearview Wealth, an Australian funds and wealth manager, has gone live with Financial Synergy’s Acurity reporting and administration software in order to get a clear view of its operations.

The Acurity platform comprises of the Member Online software tool, Adviser Online and Core Registry tools, which have collectively been implemented at ClearView to run its new WealthFoundations superannuation and pension product line.

The new straight through processing (STP) solution will also support ClearView’s wealth product team to better manage the administration needs of contributions, accounting, financial reporting and compliance reporting to agencies such as the Australian Taxation Office and Centrelink.  

The Acurity platform is able to support a wide range of super and non-super product types including managed account and defined rule style offerings. This flexibility ensures that ClearView has the appropriate infrastructure in place to migrate products from existing platforms, plus develop new products in the future as the new system beds in. Clients, advisers and administrators can all access the system.

Commenting on the installation, Tony Thomas, general manager of operations and IT at ClearView, said: “We were trying to get to market in a very aggressive timeframe with some cutting edge and first-to-market features. Without the commitment and support of Financial Synergy we would not have been able to achieve this outcome. One of the most important things was being able to work closely with the Acurity team to deliver the platform and products on time and to the high standards we were looking for.”
