The app supports mobile-specific functionality such as integrating with cameras for Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), push text alerts and geolocation features. In addition, the interface also allows users to access a quick view of account balances without requiring additional authentication.

The D3 Banking mobile app is built using a hybrid framework that allows access to the native features and functions of the device while lowering the overhead related to operating system upgrades. The mobile app uses templates that are rendered based on a device maintaining a consistent user experience, regardless of the type of device being used.

Jeelani Shaik, chief technology officer of D3 Banking, commented, “We consider our single unified codebase to be one of the biggest advantages we offer to financial institutions searching for mobile applications. Our solution eliminates the need to have device specific solutions with unique ecosystems that require extensive maintenance and testing. With the digital landscape rapidly evolving into a consortium of devices and associated functionalities, the approach used by many organizations that requires multiple products and heavy customization is unsustainable.”

D3 Banking’s single administrative interface allows financial institutions to make desired changes to the system, including user interface, and can push these changes to any digital channel, including all mobile devices, instantly. This robust configuration capability offers banks and credit unions the ability to control their branding, theming, and content down to the branch level, providing an extensive set of options to use in establishing a competitive advantage.
